"For years, I've been fascinated by conversations overheard in museums as people look at art. Then one day I was standing behind a couple who were viewing a painting by Edward Hopper called Room in New York. In this particular painting, Hoppper makes the viewer a kind of snoop by setting us out on the sidewalk, looking through an apartment window ( Read more... )

Hee. Yeah, I know that very very vaguely, but beyond that- what does one do with a picture? Etc.

*is lame*

I answered, but honestly my answers are COMPLETELY dependent on when the deadlines are--um. When are they?

Also? Dependent on if my "art" doesn't suck too badly!

Not around June 22-29=)

That is going to be hell.

I was pondering, you can use any of my soul collage things though I can make something new, too. And probably should

That type of thing is PERFECT, if you're up for it.

Ooh, now I'm wondering if I have time to collage something non-fandom-specific in the next few weeks.

If you want, like, a proper, arty layout, and need someone to do that, I'd be happy to help.

But only because of your winning smile.

They sure would. Just send whatever you've got along to me (carlyinrome@gmail.com) and I'll whip you something up in a few days. (Finals today and tomorrow, then moving, then I'm yours!)

The idea that I'm working with is that...

*thinks*

Okay. Like on picfor1000, the pictures would prompt stories in any fandom (or no fandom) and the picture would be the jumping off point. Unlike picfor1000, the pictures would be as much responses to fandom/attempts to trigger fannish responses as the stories. The goal is to work with people/creations in conversation. So, found pictures on, say, Getty (or whatever) wouldn't work, but if Random Fan took a random picture and thinks it could prompt a bunch of stories, then sure, that would work.

Does that make sense?
