Khardeen is strolling through the Mansion, hands in his pockets and humming. Gleefully. He pretty much loves everyone at this point in time...it probably has something to do with being around Morghann for a long time.

"You are in a cheerful mood, sir," a bit curt.

A curious look. "And you're not. What's to be unhappy about?"

"I went from where I expected to be to a place no safer, and less familiar still. I have not yet found a way back."

Well, if she opens the right door she's going to find a bed full of bored, bored Hungarian. And that can't be totally bad, right?

He may or may not be able to place her accent, given the differences between their times. She starts in English, though, as it's what she perceives most people speaking here. "Oh. My apologies. I did not see this room was occupied."

He catches the accent, though, gleefully, and immediately falls into a rapid, pleased flow of Hungarian. "Jesu Christ, a countryman? Is it really? Don't leave, for Christ's sake, don't go, come in. I'm about to go mad. Come in."

She is startled, but smiles in spite of herself, coming in a bit. "By education, at the very least. I was actually born in Romania, but moved to Hungary when I was small."

*And who does she run into again, but Mina? Who, this time, glances more carefully at the scarf and crucifix* Oh, hello. I'm sorry that I didn't check up on you earlier - are you settling in all right?

*She folds her hands together* In the Spring of the 1893, my then fiance, Jonathan Harker, a solicitor, made a journey to Transylvania to conclude the business proceedings with regards to a Transylvanian Count who wished to buy property in England.

*Mina watched Helen carefully, her voice remaining steady* The Count's name was Dracula, and was, reportedly, both rich and solitary, living alone in an isolated castle in the Carpathian mountains. He wished my fiancee to stay with him for a time there so that the business could be conducted at the Count's leisure. *she pauses, briefly, taking a breath* And so Jonathan left our home in London, promising to write to me often on his journey. *another pause* He kept a very detailed journal over that time - I could show it to you if you'd like to see it and Jonathan agrees.

"Of course. If he agrees, it would be most interesting, and perhaps helpful."
