I'm looking for Torchwood AUs where:

1. Ianto & Jack meet another way - during "Boom Boom Town", in the future, when Ianto's still at TW I, Ianto coming through the Rift, ...

2. Ianto isn't what he appears to be - royalty, alien, the Doctor, a Fearie, from another time, ... - and the team and/or himself don't know.

For the first - there's Everything that Rises must Converge by teachwriteslash. I think she has one where they meet during Boom Boom Town, too. There's a story about where they meet during Boom Town - don't know the author, though - called It didn't start like this' or something like that. I'd have to look. And there's the fantasitc 'Sixty Minutes an Hour' by soera ( ... )

Those are great recs, thanks. Sadly, I've read them all - just re-read Tanarian's "Five things Ianto Jones did after He became a Time Lord (and the one he didn't)". I love Tanarian's work.

No prob, I'll let you know when I find a TW/HDM fusion. I've already read a few HDM fusions with other fandoms (Sherlock,, Merlin, House, Hawaii 5-0, ...) but I still haven't found one with either TW or DW. I'll look harder tomorrow.

I don't know if you have read soera 's material but The Waters and the Wild Ianto is faery and in Sixty minutes an hour , he comes from the past. Everything she writes in amazing :)

Thank you, that's exactly what I'm looking for but I've already read those. "The Waters and the Wild" by soera is actually the first faerie!Ianto I've read and still my favourite. And "Sixty minutes an hour" is really cute, I loved that Ianto grew up connected with Jack.

There's one out there where Ianto's from Russian Royalty -and another time as well. It's a series called The Tsar of Torchwood this is the summery of the first one: Ianto Jones is a man of many secrets. He wasn't expecting the reaction he received from Jack or his teammates when he confessed his greatest one to them... that he was once the Tsarevitch of Russia
