rm and kalichan's A Strange Fashion of Forsaking -- very complicated power dynamics. (There was some rantage about it recently, you might want to consider the warnings if you have strong squicks.) Lots of complicated dynamics in the sequels, too.

Ceefax's Soldier Boy is role-playing with uniforms, not so much about the underlying relationship, but might just fit your search parameters.

I was pretty baffled by it, because I had read the warnings and the summary on the fic without the heightened awareness that one gets close to one's squicks, and the story was pretty much what I expected it to be. But, milage, varying.
