summary: kame and yamapi were childhood sweethearts but when yamapi's family migrated to australia, they broke up. they told each other to enjoy life and do whatever they want but they also promised that when they reach 25, they'll get back together and get married no matter what.
a year has passed. jin and kame has never been this happy. a month after they got together, jin moved in to kame's apartment.the room which jin used to occupy at ryo and ueda's house is now the room of their adopted daughter eri.
today was their dinner at ryo and ueda's restaurant and tomorrow, it's the start of their one month vacation.
"jin, aren't you done?" kame called. it was already 7:30 and they're supposed to be at ryo's at 8.
"i'm coming! i just need to find my shoe." jin said
kame sighed then grabbed jin's shoes
"jin, it's here! come down!" kame called
moments later, jin was running down the stairs
"where is it?" he asked
kame threw him his sneakers.
"thanks!" jin smiled then put his shoes on
when they arrived at the restaurant, everyone was already there. maru,koki and junno were playing with eri while ueda and ryo prepared the food. after some time, the two called them and they all went inside.
they started to eat and drink. ueda and ryo were busy taking care of eri while the others exchanged stories.
"oh! kame kame! where are you planning to go on your vacation?" koki asked
"we're going to okinawa for a few days then we'll go to america to meet jin's family." kame replied
"eh? how long will you be gone?" maru asked
"we'll stay in america for two weeks then go back here. we'll just rest afterwards."
"ah..sou.."
after their dinner, everyone said their goodbyes and went home

kame and jin were on their way to to okinawa when jin stopped the car
"hmm? nani?" kame asked
"is it ok if we visit the orphanage?" jin asked
"eh? nande?"
"please?" jin just asked.
kame nodded. jin drove back. when they reached the orphanage, jin helped kame out of the car.
"kame, i'm jelous.." jin said
"what?" kame asked looking surprised
"i'm jelous of ryo and tat-chan. how come they have eri..." jin said
kame laughed.
"you made me nervous." he said
"can we have our own eri?" jin suddenly asked
"of course jin. is that why we're here?"
jin nodded and kame smiled
"let's go, let's talk to the nuns."
jin and kame were oriented by the nuns and then they were led to the children's room to choose the child they'll adopt. they were almost at the end of the room when someone called them
"an-chan!!!!"
kame and jin turned to the owner of that voice
"yuuki-chan! how have you been?" jin asked
"fine an-chan! long time since you've been here ne? bunny missed you" yuuki said pushing his bunny towards jin
"i missed bunny too. and we missed you too yuuki-chan!" jin said
then jin, caught kame looking at him and smiling. he understood
"ne, yuuki-chan, how bout you come with me and jin an-chan?" kame asked
"where are we going? i need to aks sister first ne?"
"you'll live with us. do you want that?"
yuuki's eyes were glowing.
"hontou ni?"
"hai.." kame replied
yuuki hugged both jin and kame.
"but what about bunny?" yuuki asked
"of course bunny can come too yuuki-chan!" jin said
"arigatou!" yuuki said then hugged him again.
jin carried yuuki back to her room to help her pack her things while kame went back to the car to get his bag. on his way, he passed by the playground. he couldn't help himself. he walked towards the see saw.he ran his hands on the wood and traced the carvings
"that won't change.." a voice from behind said
kame turned to see who it is
"pi.."
yamapi stood there smiling
"how? why are you here?"kame asked
"i asked jin if i could talk to you. he told me you'd be here today." yamapi explained
kame just stared at ack in him.
"kame, i just want to say i'm sorry. you were right. i was stupid. i was only thinking of myself and my pride. i thought that if i continued being with you, i won't hurt you but it was worse. i caused you pain. and maki, i caused her pain. hontou ni gomenasai."
kame still didn't answer. yamapi walked toward the see saw and traced the words he carved. he smiled at kame
"these words are still real kame. you will still be forever in my heart. as my bestfriend. no one can change that." yamapi said
"pi..are..are you ok? maki? how is she?" kame asked looking concerned
"kame, don't worry about me.i'm fine.maki's fine too.she's back in australia planning for our wedding."
"pi! really? i'm glad to hear that!"
"uhmm..i'm so blessed kame, she still accepted me despite the fact that i caused her too much pain. that's why i said to myself that i will never ever do anything that will hurt her again."
"that's because she loves you pi. when you love someone, you accept everything about him. you don't only love what's good about him, you also love his bad side and help him change it."
yamapi smiled
"i know kame. i understand it now."
"so, when's the wedding?"
"three weeks from now. i hope you can come. maki will be happy."
"you know, we're going to america for two weeks and after that, we're just staying here. i'll tell jin about it. we'll attend your wedding"
"thank you...it'll mean so much to us."
then, jin came out of the orphanage carrying yuuki on one arm and yuuki's bag on the other.
"kame an-chan!!" yuuki called
kame waved at them and waited for them to come. when jin saw yamapi, they shook hands
"jin an-chan, who's he?" yuuki asked
"ah..he's a friend of ours yuuki. he's yamapi an-chan." jin said
"hajimemashite yamapi an-chan!" yuuki greeted
"hajimemashite yuuki-chan." pi replied
"jin, maki and pi are getting married. we should come to their wedding.." kame said
"really? when is it?" jin asked pi
"three weeks from now."yamapi replied.
"oh! good! we can go!" jin said.
"yuuki-chan, is it okay if we go to australia after we go to america?" kame asked yuuki
"HAI!" yuuki answered enthusiastically.
after that, yamapi left and said that he'll wait for in and kame on their wedding. when pi was gone,jin let yuuki play.
kame went close to jin and kissed him
"hmmm?" was jin's reaction
"thanks.."kame said
"for what?"
"for everything. for helping me and yamapi clear things out, for yuuki and for just being you..."
"what do you want in return?" kame asked
jin pulled kame closer.
"this would be enough.."
then he kissed kame like there was no tomorrow.
