thank you for the kind comments, and for your support nevertheless, and it's good that i now know what caused you not to participate, and please do not apologize, it is okay, of yourse it is not your duty to participate ^-^ it's just for fun! i guess the HIATUS will last one moneth more or less,depends ^-^ but then with fresh power and new ideas for challenges

But I really think, that the people suggesting challenge theme could be useful. Sometimes we, mods, don't really know what do you find tough and what not, because if we thought about the theme then we know, that we could do it. I always try to add some help points, like some given images etc. And I think that is really needed when the challenge is specific, because not everyone has time and wish to search for the pictures. Also, though I love asianfanatics.net, you, isa, put a link to it in the extension post, but as far as I remember pictures are available only for users :/ Also.. the searching could be tiring. I tried to search there for the last challenge, too. Exausting. :D In the end I found one picture in my PC so I used it.
Conclusion? I guess it really was the theme, so don't be depressed ;) You know that we all adore you and this great community ;) I remember how happy I was when I found this out ^^
