Ah, but I heard things about it not really being Eljay's fault? Did SixApart factor in any of this? Hmm, and I'd like to know the reasoning behind banning those comms or journals. It would seem kind of odd to decide to do that out of the blue. It's all kind of confusing. @_@;

<3!

That's okay. I think theories/speculations might confuse me more. (I'm easily confused. If it isn't already obvious. D:)

Well, I have really fragile self esteem, so it helps to look as pretty as possible in order to feel good about myself. :)

Oh, I should reply back to your email. I almost forgot about it! <3

HAHAHA. That's so fantastic. ♥ It's so heartwarming when everyone is united!! Even if we're all united in our efforts to bring on the h8 towards Eljay. XDDDDD

I was like that at first. Definitely a late bloomer. I didn't start wearing eyeliner until one of my friends actually sat me down, and told me, "BITCH, WEAR SOME DAMN EYELINER ALREADY YOU'LL LOOK FREAKING HOT." She basically taught me how to put it on, and then we went out--I got hit on by three different guys. In a row. As corny as it sounds, it felt pretty... empowering. Like maybe I wasn't so fugly after all. :D

I pretty much taught myself, and I also learned from friends and books and online tutorials, since my older sister and I are estranged and my mom is teh oldskool. Anyhow, if you want me to impart the (admittedly very little) knowledge I do have, just holler. :)

No, it was very sweet. You're very kind. I think I will return it and if you don't mind we can chat some more~ ♥ I think you're awesome.

...

.......

:O

I AM A TARD. ;____________;

Hmm, okay, LJ news. Will check.

They look a lot like Gwen Stefani's? At least, from what I remember. But since I have a pretty small face, they're not so big. If someone else were to try them on, they might actually look a little small. I had to try on a million different pairs to find one that didn't actually eat up my whole face. ^^;

okay chanel sunglasses > than a permanent account. seriously.

and i totally agree with you on the materialism bit; i would honestly rather have another lip gloss than a doujin and a new hair product instead of a DVD. i actually don't want to go to animenext at all but one of my friends has been working really hard on her cosplays and wants me to come. so i will deliberately only take $100 off my debit card and leave all my cards at home. 8D

XD;

I used to think that the way I'm thinking now is pretty shallow, but now I'm less judgmental and more loose about it. If being materialistic makes someone happy because they feel good about herself, then I say go for it! It's good to feel pretty~ ♥

(About the strikethrough, I kind of skipped over the whole thing even though I wasn't on hiatus or anything XD)

Wow, $300 for a pair of sunglasses.. that's a lot :p But hey, if you like it, that's what counts, since you might regret not buying it afterwards ^_^

AX, I would love visiting that someday, but I guess that's still far in the future haha~ I've never really taken the time to make myself look pretty, except maybe some lipgloss once or twice :3 I understand what you mean though, even if I do a lot of "useless" money-spending XD; I mean, except that it might look pretty.. other people wouldn't see it, whereas clothes and make-up are much more visible to the outside and stuff X3

And yeah, it's good to have you back~ ♥

Haha! <3

Hmm, that *is* true, but the way I see it, sunglasses are a lifelong investment--provided you take good care of them, of course.

I went last year when CLAMP was there, but I accidentally got the dates wrong and ended up going on one of the days when they weren't there. But I can see how people who aren't from L.A. would be dying to go whereas so many people who are near enough to attend AX without trouble are fairly nonchalant about the opportunity. XD

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that it's "useless" money-spending. It's like the sunglasses--if you were to regret not buying it, then getting anime merchandise would be a good investment for you, since it would be important. Me, I'm working on myself right now--actively making myself into a more put-together person. It's all about what's important to you personally, and what you consider to be a good investment. :)

Ah, that's definately true. And for such a price, it's pretty logical it wouldn't break easily or something ^^

Aw, that must have been really dissapointing ;___; Yeah, since I live overseas, I doubt my parents would let me leave for that XD; Hell, that would be really expensive, especially since we do have conventions here also. But then not with such famous people LOL

Oh no, I didn't take it like that at all, it's just late and I can't find the right words haha! But you're right, people have different interests and so the importance of things varies as well. ^_^

I wasn't disappointed, just really amused. XD; It was something to laugh about.

That's good, I was worried I offended you with my careless wording. D:
