In which I rant about Chuck. As in Bartowski, or rather Charles Carmichael. Heavy on spoilers. If you are not completely caught up, do not read this. If you may be thinking about watching this show, do not read this. Start at the very beginning. It's a very good place to start.

Yay Chuck! I don't like Jill, but only because I'm one of those sappy romantics that has to cheer for Sarah and Chuck because, well, poor Sarah. I don't think there are any kind of redemptive motives on Jill's part. After the ending, it seems like she was just a carefully crafted lure to get the intersect and kill it.

Wait, why do they want to kill the intersect? He's got all the government secrets... couldn't they just use him instead? If Bryce is part of Fulcrum (which I don't believe -- I think he's just crazy), I think he'd know enough about Chuck to be able to use him to gain intel, rather than want to destroy him to prevent the government from getting that information.

Also, I have that song that was playing when they went off the grid the first time (at the gas station). It's a good song. I've even created an iTunes genius playlist thingy based on it.

You make an excellent point about just manipulating Chuck. But at the same time I don't think Bryce could have hung around after he gave Chuck the new secrets. I feel like that would not have gone over well with the CIA. But I still think that Jill being Fulcrum is very definitely related to Bryce working for Fulcrum. But the other thing to wonder about is that Jill was not in the Intersect as anything suspicious.

I don't think they (whether this includes Bryce or not) want to kill Chuck. She could easily have just poisoned him or something. It could have even been a biomedical thing that is undetectable and has no antidote. She is that smart.

Also, I kind of can't wait to see Chuck reaction when he finds out. I mean, it would not be fun if he is just heart broken, but I feel like he snaps back from situations like that reasonably well and could turn into Charles Carmichael and pull a "I knew it the whole time, Jill. Did you really think I was that stupid?" And then do something awesome. Because Chuck is awesome.
