My company has the policy of not shutting down for one day, so typically for holidays that fall during the week (i.e. yesterday's Canada day) we worked and instead get the Friday off. Since this guarantees us a long weekend, no one ever complains (including myself

You want to shop for shoes for me... I have these killer high heels but nothing work appropriate that is not a NB running shoe.

Ah! the option of having many stores to chose from and the time to do it... pipe dream for me at the moment.

You should consider coming down here if you ever need to do a shopping binge. I think I'm going to have to be anorexic for the next little while
