That's pretty much what I said.

I have a friend in Houston who's running from this thing. This just makes me even more worried. :(

Sounds kinda like that statement that the NWS put out before Katrina. I believe that one mentioned flying household appliances. This one sounds just as bad in my reading. Yikes.

Certain death??? ACK. But seriously, anyone (especially on Galveston Island) who decides to stay behind would have probably fallen victim to Darwinism anyway....

This is a very, very serious storm. Hope people in TX take it as such.
