Incredible! The photographer said he'd never seen anything like this outbreak. 36 tornadoes so far today...how many more before it ends, one wonders.

This is really a spring-type outbreak. How'd it happen in September?!

Like they're saying, it is much more reminiscent of Spring - or at the very least of the usual secondary peak that occurs during November. It is really bizarre, and probably comes with larger implications for the rest of the year and possibly beyond. I sure wonder what winter is going to look like.

And it's really unheard of for the month of September. I keep wondering what the larger-picture implications of today's (and yesterday's... and last week's) outbreaks are ...
