Back from New York and Boston. Good Lord what a vacation! And I don't mean in the GOOD way. Major family stress and aggravation compounded by heat and the loss of my camera (I left it in a taxi in NYC) and the death of my little canary while I was gone. Still, we were together and saw some very cool things

Welcome back! Congrats on all the great things, and sympathies for losing your birdie, that sucks. It all sounds wonderful - staying in Tesla's own room would definitely be the number two Great Thing (after the family reunions things). Awesome! There wasn't by chance any ... extra static when you touched the doorknob, was there?

Thanks, hon! The birdie was getting old so I was expecting it, but it still sucks. She was sweet. I have 8 cockatiels and they are fun as well but I think I will get some more canaries - I really like them.

Haha - yes, Tesla. He was a fascinating figure, wasn't he? No supernatural or static experiences while we were there, alas. My husband was very happy though. :-)

Thanks, hon! Yes, Comic Con! Crazy fun - my 6th or 7th year in a row - I can't really remember how many. Anyhow, it's always a wonderful time and this year is sure to be the same.

Regardless of the bits that went wrong and the upsets, it still sounds as if you had a great time.

Enjoy yourself at Comic Con. Are you going to any of the Nerd Machine panels? I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed that they will all be streamed live again - besides the obvious of wanting to see Jared, there are quite a few others I wouldn't mind watching. x

Thanks! Yes, I'm going to Jared's panel!! Getting tickets was a nightmare but I managed it at last. Yay!!! I hope they'll stream, too. He's such a sweet guy. I expect to be dazzled by him again (went last year too). :-)
