Cardiff meet
Hi everyone, I promised everyone I'd put up a rough plan for what we are going to do in Cardiff so here goes.
It will take place Friday 14th August - Monday 17th August in Cardiff.
Please note that we are including the book signing at Borders in the itinery if anyone wants to join us for just that.
So I have a cunning plan... But first can you please ensure that if you're coming you have told me:

Age (if under 18)
Which days
Where you're staying
Any requests

Now on to the plan:
Friday
I'm hoping to be around from about lunch time and we're going to go sit in the pub next to the station and grab people as they arrive.
In the evening there is a Blue Gillespie gig in Newport starting at 8. Tickets are £5 OTD and the return train is about £3.50. More information can be found at http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=378375830&blogId=497051116
Saturday
We are going to an audiobook signing at Borders. Its due to start about 1 but we probably want to be there early to fangirl together. There is more information about this at http://cardiff.borders.co.uk/events/cardiff/8/ (scroll down a bit)
Then I propose a Torchwoodbears picnic in Bute park. Bring whatever you like but we can get stuff on the way.
In the afternoon weather permitting we can have a look at all the sights in the city that are oh so familiar. We can also go to the geeky shops like FP and BABW and anything that takes people's fancy.
For the evening I'm suggesting a pub meal and possibly finding a nice pub to sit in and just be geeky...
Sunday
I plan for us to spend most of sunday in the bay area doing the following in no particular order:
Doctor Who Exhibition
Torchwood Exhibition (I'm told it should be open by then but am going to check)
Millennium Centre
Boat trip to the barrage (weather permitting again)
Visiting all the famous sites around the bay.
I suggest we get sandwiches for lunch and then chose from one of the nice eating places in the bay - there are lots!
Monday
I don't know how many people are staying into monday due to work but I'm planning stuff as I at least will be there till mid afternoon!
I'm suggesting Cardiff Castle followed by maybe lunch at TigerTiger.
So what do people think? Feedback is welcome.
Also please note that if you're coming you don't have to go to all of it. I'll be giving you my phone number so you can pop away and come back at any point you want to. Though please let me know if you are doing this...
Please note that all Torchwood bears are welcome to all bits (except maybe friday night) and if anyone fancies making one (or more) we can go and have fun in BABW (they were fantastic to us last time)
Right and on a final note I'm about to do another post on this so have a look but we are putting together a book to give to Gareth. We'll hopefully do this at the signing event but I am waiting to hear back off Borders as they might not allow it. If not it'll be on the friday. This book is a celebration of Ianto and to say thanks for the memories. All entires are welcome either through comments or to jones.ianto.jones.007@googlemail.com which we set up specially for it.
