Oh, man! I wandered over to Youtube to find a vid of J'ai vu le Loup, le Renard, et la Bilettte and old French tune that was also a signature tune for the traditional Cajun fiddler Dewey Balfa. Instead I found a French hip hop artist sampling the renaissance song! I guess all Torchwood needs now is the weasel (bilette).

Catchy tune. I like it. Didn't understand more than a word or two, but I liked it all the same.

It's about the scoundrels at a dance: the wolf, the fox, and the weasel. Cautionary tale for innocent maids and all that. I'm used to hearing it on traditional instruments so this version is a little off base but fun. it just struck me that Torchwood has had the wolf and the fox now. Was John Hart the weasel?
