I can't decide what made me gurgle in glee more: Mickey turning into Wil Smith or Rhys riding a pink princess bike to the rescue of the school. Or Dr. Julian Bashir....
THIS is season 3 of Torchwood! Good job, everyone.
If I hadn't like CoE before this, now I most definitely don't. Jesus fuck. It's 7 in the morning and I'm still here, because I just couldn't stop reading. There were hundreds of things I wanted to highlight as I read, but I won't remember half of them.
I feared for Andy's life there, I was so, so certain you were going to kill someone, and damn it was going to be Andy. But I am so glad it wasn't him. Well, Swanson... But Andy is alive in the end, and Andy helped save the day, kind of, and I loved it that you included him in this chapter, even if he wasn't directly involved with the Torchwood people. He had a moment to shine, and that was brilliant. Andy is always brilliant. He was being heroic and amazing, and gah, I am softy for Andy. <3

Thanks! I'm glad it worked for you. I think we really came to enjoy Rhi and her family as the series went on.
Gray ... well, in some ways he's there, kind of illuminating some of the issues for Jack. There were only so many different dynamics we could sqeeze into this episode.
Um, ok, wow. I only stumbled on this a few days ago and I love the crap out of it. The whole concept. The ephemera, captain's log, scans, episodes.
And wow. Can I just say how I LOVED that you used elements that were introduced and left completely hanging in the televised series? Everything from the weevils, to the missing years, to Gray, John Hart, Flat Holm.... Man, it was stupendous.
It'll be rather hard to watch anything on TV after this, assuming they ever decide to create another Torchwood series.
This is a cumulative ovation, one owed to every story in the comm, every author, contributor, and partaker. This is what I would hope for, from a sci-fi series. This was truly Torchwood.
