How dare you imply Blue_Fjord's vegan red velvet cupcakes (ER, I mean the Ka'Bleen's red velvet fairy cakes, yes, that's what I meant!) are from Mickey D's :) Just because it's red doesn't mean it's got anything to do with that clown...
I dare anything! Especially when the angle of the photo makes it look (to me) like a fry table at McD's. How often do you think I get to McD's, after all? (Seriously. I haven't been there since 2004.) For all I know they serve fake beef cupcakes there!!!!!
I apologize to Blue_Fjords, however, because red velvet fairy cakes are the most awesome treat imaginable, and now I feel the need to make my own. Lacking red food coloring, however, I'll have to settle for just chocolate.
LOL. We have the worst secret spy base ever near me (it's signposted, the bus stops outside, it gives out promotional toys and from above the building is designed like a giant target). One of their jobs is to monitor phone calls - and this is exactly the sort of thing I imagine that's actually like. Dull as hell. :D
After they posted the first draft of this episode, I think everyone was. Then we had Blue's utterly fabulous vegan red velvet cupcakes, so when I went home, I had to bake my own family recipe (just posted it on tw_cooks). So, yeah, it's been a few months of red velvet cravings. E4 must've made me put on 5 lbs of virulently red cellulite!
I've been going way out of my way to get the gluten-free ones at a local bakery. After the second time, I had to confess to my partner that yes, this was another Torchwood thing.
