I seriously just finished listening for the second time because... really? Really? ReallyReally?!

I am flailing between being happy with the generous bone Janto fans were thrown and being pissed because it would have been better if we’d gotten such things sooooo much sooner.

And the acting… Oh the acting! I had to fight back tears both times once I got to the end because I’m pretty sure my coworkers would question my sanity if I sat at my desk weeping over a radio play.

Instead of tears, I made with the fanfic!

Look! RTD SOLVED THE RIFT PROBLEM WITHOUT RESORTING TO CHEAP BORROWING FROM DOCTOR WHO.

Also, he clearly responded to the fan complaint that Ianto didn't get a heroic send off, and let Ianto save the world and close the rift and Have A Moment with Jack.

Lesson: If the fans complain enough, we can change canon, apparently.
