"Coke." Jack looked pleased as Rex dug into the fridge and pulled out two cans. Jack's pleased look fell.
"That's Sprite."
"Coke."
"Sprite."
From the room next door, Esther and Gwen both yelled, "Any carbonated sugared drink is a Coke!".

Actually, if someone said they had a Coke and handed me a Sprite I'd be pretty pissed! Where do they refer to all soda as a Coke?

lol somewhere in the MO/IL/KY/TN area. It confused the hell out of me, as did the hamburger thing. We had Discussions let me tell you! Pop was all soda. Soda was coke, sprite and pepsi, Coke was all soda. Except when it wasn't. Eventually I just stuck to sodapop for everything-

I really want Rex to be from somewhere where Coke is all soda/pop.
