Hello all! So, for the better part of three years now, I've been doing Captain Jack Harkness (ha ha, yes who hasn't?). I did, however, take a break to work out this beauty on commission for a friend. I'm very, very proud of it.

1: How much is the braid?
2: Did you hand-sew it? How long did it take?
c: Do you know where he got those rockin' boots?

I don't remember the pricing on the braid, unfortunately. I recall it being something near $6/yd or something. Then I had to dye it a bit. As for the attaching it, its machine stitched on. I pinned it like crazy then ran it through my machine over and over and over.

And I know so little about the boots its absurd. eBay, maybe? I don't know. I'm just pulling answers out of the air.

Hm. Sounds a decent idea... The machine-sewing, I mean, with flat cord. Might save me a bit of insanity. And blood.

I was kinda considering asking how much it'd cost for a commission... Is it worth asking if I have a smallish budget?

Actually its a special kind of trim, not cord. Makes it less-scary. The real one is machined.

As for the commissioning, yeah, unfortunately, its a pricey project.
