"Really, Sir, you're acting like you are 12." Ianto's voice was laced with annoyance as he brushed off the snow sticking to his suit jacket. "I am not having a snowball fight."
“Where’s your sense of fun?” Jack asked bending down to retrieve more snow. There was a thud, and then laughter as Owen threw a snowball into Jack’s wriggling arse.
"My sense of fun is just fine, thank you. But we're supposed to be on a mission." He sighed as Tosh and Gwen raced past, laughing as Owen chased them with handfuls of snow. Jack shrugged as he took aim and sent his own snowy missile flying towards Owen, giving a cry of victory as it pegged the back of the mans head. "We searched, Yan, there's nothing here. And it’s the first snowfall of the season."
"Why do I get the feeling that there never was anything to find, Jack?" He gave Jack an assessing look as the older man avoided meeting his eyes.
“Of course there was, do you honestly think I’d bring you lot out, in public-” Jack paused as Owen skids in front of him before being tackled into the snow by the two women. “…in this weather, just to have fun? When we could be, oh, I don’t know, be chasing weevils, watching paint dry, maybe?”
“In other words, this was a setup. You could at least have told me so that I could change clothes.” Ianto gave his suit a sad look, knowing he was in trouble and wondering if he could make it back to the SUV before any damage could be done.
Jack grinned as he guessed the direction of Ianto’s thoughts and advanced on him, handful of snow at the ready. Ianto backed away slowly, holding his hands out as a shield.
“Sir, a warning - I’m afraid that if that snowball comes near me, you will end up regretting that decision.”
“Oh really now, what you gonna do? Get your gun out?” Jack leered, winking before continuing his advancement.
“I’ll do more than that, sir.”
Moving faster than Ianto anticipated, Jack tackled the young man into a snow bank, laughing at the Welsh curses that rang out. They wrestled about, Ianto trying to get up and Jack using it as an excuse to put his hands in places he normally wouldn't be allowed to in public.
“Sir, I don’t think you should be enjoying this, that much,” Ianto whispered, as they both stopped for a breather. Jack was lying directly on top of Ianto, his arousal evident.
“Well maybe you shouldn’t be so damn hot!”
“I’m not hot - it’s freezing out here!”
With an effort, Ianto managed to push Jack off so he could stand up. He shivered slightly; brushing as much snow off as possible, sighing in a resigned way and knowing his suit was ruined. Bending down on the pretense of cleaning the rest of the snow off his legs, he surreptitiously scooped up a handful of snow, planning on payback. He straightened as Jack stood and smiled innocently at him.
Stepping closer to the older man, he leaned in to whisper in Jack's ear. "Do you know what the best part about being tricked is? It's getting revenge." With that, he grabbed the front of Jack's pants and dumped the handful of snow down them. "That should cool you down." With a satisfied smile, Ianto walked off as Jack shouted in surprised outrage.
