Author's Notes: I hope you like it! I tried to use the following from your likes: Medieval AU, slow build up and pining. It’s hard to get a good ‘pine’ or slow build in a short story, so I hope you forgive the fast moving nature of the narrative flow. Also, I’ve never written for Jackson before. I hope you’re okay with his characterization. And Medieval and Reagent get mixed up in my head a lot. I’ll probably have WAY MORE authorial wibbling after the reveal!
