Discussion post: Women in the Torchwood world.
From adventurous pilots, technological geniuses and dedicated detectives to telepathic aliens and cannibalistic villagers there have been a very wide range of women appearing in Torchwood.
So the discussion is this: What do you think about how women are portrayed in the Torchwood world?
Good? Poorly? Falls into too many well established TVtropes? Is something new? Would you have like to have seen something other than what they did? All of the above to varying degrees?

Saying you think the portrayal of a character was too one dimensional/was a stereotype or they were inconsistantly written, or that you think a particular writer has problems in how they show a subject/theme is fine, as is saying you aren't comfortable with an aspect of the show.
