• JJY's lawyer says M.net specifically contacted the three; it's unclear if they contacted Yunho & Changmin.
• Side note: In 2007, M.net announced TVXQ would be at the 2007 MKMF, when in fact TVXQ was scheduled to be in Japan. It remains unknown (AFAIK) if M.net intentionally lied, if there were communication issues between M.net and SM, or what.

• News widely reported in Korean media hours after the awards show ended.
• M.net's claims that it invited all 5 members cannot be verified or disproved; the invite to Yunho & Changmin would probably have been through SM, and since SM boycotted MAMA it likely would have been a brick wall just for that reason alone. If they tried to contact Yunho & Changmin directly, we'll probably never know.
• SM's claims that M.net did not tell them about the award cannot be either verified or disproved. It's not likely we'll ever know the truth.

• At this time we cannot locate sources for these articles and they should be considered speculation and rumor until further notice.
• Speculation/rumor is that M.net is owned by a giant company called CJ Media and in 2008 CJ Media attempted a hostile takeover of SM after SM refused to let M.net distribute their music and because of all this - rumor is - that SM boycotted MAMA and M.net invited JJY to MAMA stir up more controversy and that they were used as pawns to upset SM.
