I learned a very important fact today. Even though your book can go through several careful readings (including those by relatives and friends who are charged with going over the book with a fine-toothed comb to find mistakes) mistakes will still show up

I did edit it. That's the thing. So did Lahni. So did her mother.

I really have no idea how this happened.

PISHAW. I totally went over that bitch with a fine tooth comb, thank you very much! You should see the copy I edited... every paged marked all over.. and not before bedtime. BUT, i did have an occasional.. MOMMY! I WANT TO GET UP FROM NAP! to contend with.

And, once JOhn gets picked up by a publisher, they will do the editing. Fingers crossed
