According to the table of contents, both chapters 2 and 3 are titled "A Little Town Called Bovina"???

Yes. Both chapters are. I don't know if you're saying "Hey, you should be aware that you have an error in your TOC," in which case you needn't worry, or if you're saying "Bovina? I remember Bovina!"
