She's prepared to hunt down the tree and cut it herself, but she soon discovers it's a bigger job than she'd planned on. Enter Damon, who she secretly has a thing for but has never been brave enough to act on it. As he helps her wrangle a tree, will she finally muster up the courage to reveal her feelings there in the middle of the woods?

Elena Gilbert is Damon Salvatore's Christmas angel... at least that's what Bonnie Bennett says. While Elena helps Damon rediscover his Christmas spirit she learns he could be her chance of finding her way back to Earth. After all she isn't dead... she's in a coma.

Hi, everyone… I know it has been awhile and, as I write this, my heart is pounding and even my hands are sweating, I’m so nervous! I haven’t written anything in so, so long, moreover, I know by writing a prompt for this exchange, that means I have to answer one and find my musie again; which is frightening because she deserted me a while back! However, despite being utterly terrified, I really want to give writing a shot again. Moreover, I think starting here, a place where I feel comfortable would be a great way to get my feet wet and (honestly) see if I still have what it takes to write a good story. Truthfully, I’m unsure if I still have it, this will be my test before I make the choice to hand over some of my stories to other writers who can give them an ending that both the stories and readers deserve
