Uhhhh, okay. He doesn't really scream "paranormal psychologist/history professor" to me, but you know, whatever. I'm getting used to disappointment. Who knows, maybe I'll be surprised. But without Meredith, I feel Alaric is only going to be half worthwhile. And I really, desperately hope they don't try to hook him up with Bonnie. . .

I think he MIGHT be able to pull it off, but...eh. I'll try not to judge until he actually appears on the show.
