Vampire Diaries Reaction Post - "Pilot"
The Vampire Diaries pilot is airing in less than an hour on the east coast. This post is here for you to post your reactions - both as you're watching and your thoughts on the pilot after it ends.

Warning: There will be spoilers for the pilot in the comments, and most likely for the books. Read them at your own risk.
Edit: Remember, the TV series is an entity in its own right, and won't be following the books exactly. Most people are already aware about the differences in the characters from the books, so please keep comments on that to a minimum, and don't start any arguments over it. ;)
