It's still really bizarre that they're willfully mispronouncing both it and Stefan's first name because it "feels right" (yeah, mangling the names of other nationalities FEELS SO GOOD), but it's a step in the right direction, for sure (and I would LOVE it if the name pronunciation were my biggest complaint in the end), though judging by the pilot it seems like they're still using the "the brothers are originally from the town" shtick, which is... sad. Hopefully they'll change it (and, um, constipated caveman Wesley).
