There's a commercial for a carpet cleaning company [name witheld because they normally rock] where a woman says she chose them because "they were clean."

Yes, she hires labor based on how they bathe.

I know, I know everyone is entitled to an opinion... I just wish their opinions weren't so tied to looks over substance.

Which is still valid... I think too many years around vapid gossipers has caused me to hear statements like that in a Valley Girl accent. Like oh my God! Could you believe it? Gag me...

Well, I'd worry more about how they cleaned my carpet... but I must admit when I hire someone to do work in my house, it's nice when they show up non-stinky.

(Perhaps there's a rash of filthy dirty carpet cleaning dudes in your area, and they see a marketing opportunity? {g} )

I admit, I would be very suspicious of the professional cleaning abilities of people who were noticably not clean. (I have brothers, you see. ~g~)
