Seriously, one of the most effective and terrifying murder scenes ever filmed. Ever, ever.

Those bar shots with "The World Spins" are some ofmy absolute favorite in Twin Peaks. I am going to move there someday.

It's a nice place, at least the parts that are real places. The Mar-T cafe (aka Double-R Diner), for example, is smaller than you'd think, and full of loggers every morning covering a table-top Ms. Pac-Man game with real maple syrup. No joke. This happened for three days in a row when I was there, so I assume it's always going to happen.

I think it's also the way Lynch managed to squeeze in so many of the townsfolk in those last ten minutes. Everyone is involved in the revealing moment, but there is only one killer. Just gorgeous. The guy fuckin'....RULES.
