okay I know this is probably the most stupid question ever, but how does one get posting access when already a member of the comm?

Hm, well you have to sign up first and sign up is usually from the 1st until the 10th/11th of each month. After sign up is closed posting access is granted to everyone that signed up.

Oh very nice! About the category, we can make crossovers with different shows, not 5 icons with the same show, right?

Preferably you crossover your show with 5 different shows, but you're also allowed with just one show. Though in that case never the same characters more than once together.
