c++ is almost the same as java
except functions are called methods

java > c++

don't learn c++. it won't get you anywhere.

Of course it will. The vast majority of programs are written in C++. If I'm going to be a programmer, I'd be an idiot not to learn it now, because I'll definitely need it later.
