It's ridiculous that renters are denied pets. In most parts of Europe it's illegal to discriminate now.

It still hurts that I missed the last year of Smudge's life. I had him at the start, I should have been there at the end.

If you rent a house you should be able to treat it as your HOME.

I didn't know that Smudge had died. I am so very sorry. :(

Thanks... it was last June. He'd gone to live with my Uncle who loved him a lot, but his health started declining and he was on full time meds. One morning he was found collapsed in the litter tray and there was nothing they could do. :( Still miss him, even though I'd never have taken him from my uncle.

I am in the same position. After a pet so I can actually function in society but I am not allowed one.

Usually hate change.org but...

My boys missing having a cat so much. People have no idea the difference an animal can make in someone's life. Thanks for signing, I know Change.org isn't perfect!
