The Lady Arrives...

[There is a dark-haired young woman walking carefully through town, taking note of her surroundings and seeming more and more frustrated as she does so. She wears a  black dress and long black cloak, whose hood she is pulling up over her head in an effort to conceal her horns]

Hm. So it is a human town... But the woods do not usually lead this way.

[ Nacht (in his human guise) pauses mid-step when he spots her, crimson eyes narrowing slightly.

For the moment, he says nothing to her plea, and studies her silently. Was it a trick of the eyes, or did she sort of resemble that female knight? ]

[ His red eyes glint. ]

I certainly won't be stupid enough to tell you the truth. Human, yes. You'll find that most here, are. Though not all.

[dame_ohne_gnade]

Human... Just as I thought. Dammit. [in a much nicer tone than she used with him previously] Well, then, as you can see, I am not human. Would you mind keeping that a secret for me? [she smiles] I would greatly appreciate it.

[dustere_nacht]

[ He raises an eyebrow, deliberately deciding not to give a firm yes or no. ]

Do you really think you can hide it when you have horns like that? Unless you are capable of disguise.

[dame_ohne_gnade]

Ordinarily, I can disguise myself, but it takes time to prepare. I came here far too suddenly, and I could only use my cloak to hide them.

[dustere_nacht]

[ He pauses, thinking it over.

There really was nothing to gain from spreading her secret, he supposed. Plus, if she were to ever find out about him... it would be unpleasant for anyone else to be told of who he really was. ]

Hn. Fine. I won't speak of it.
