Yeah, yeah, yeah. Still, we do look pretty awesome in this. Might as well revel in it.

[[Mytho has arrived at the entrance of the ballroom, wearing this outfit that he had picked out with Rue earlier, along with a decorative golden mask that covered the top half of his face. Mytho seems to be waiting to go in, however, keeping a look-out for the one he had said he'd attend the ball with.]]

I thought we'd meet up here...I hope she hasn't gotten lost on the way...

[[Mytho glances over at the voice, and seeing who it is, he nods.]] Yes. Have you seen a Rue come by here? I believe she's wearing a claret-red hoop gown...

[[He shakes his head, but gives Mytho a reassuring smile.]]

No, not yet. But I do not doubt that she will arrive very soon.

*Ahiru had gotten a bit ahead of Rue, holding the wrapped present under one arm while holding the thin handle of her blue and yellow mask in her other hand. It was a little hard to walk without holding up the longer skirt of the dark blue dress that the Ahiru that was a vampire had made for her, but Ahiru knew she wanted to wear it to the party. Rue was wearing the red one she'd made too. The heartless princess enters the ballroom, pausing momentarily near the entrance to look around curiously. ...Everything was really pretty, she decides vaguely. Moon strolls up alongside her, looking around almost boredly, before walking inside and disappearing into the mounds of pillows. Ahiru, thinking she probably shouldn't lose sight of Moon, momentarily forgets about Rue behind her and goes off to follow the cat.*

((Yes, I know that hat box looks like a cake. It is a cake. Just go along with it. XD))

[[He smiles and approaches Ahiru, lowering the handle of his own mask to see her clearer.]]

My, my, my. You look lovely tonight, my dear.

*Ahiru looks over her shoulder, and her eyes light up with recognition.* Other-Fakir! *Moon looks boredly over as well, and then gives a grand sort of waddle over to the Goblin King, looking up at him in a dully expectant manner. He had graced him with his presence, so it was clear that pets were in order.*

[[He takes her hand in his and brings it to his lips before crouching down and obediently petting the cat. The Goblin King smirks, feeling as though he has found a kindred soul in the feline.]]

My dear, is there someone accompanying you tonight?

[[Rue, dressed in a distinctly flamboyant gown and carrying a mask in one hand, enters with a bored expression on her face. She glances around with little interest and frowns.]]

The idiot said he'd be here... I wonder if I have to go kill him before he'll come...

[[His eyebrows shoot up.]]

Well, ma'am. I do like your style.

Hm. I don't. It was the best thing I could find.

[[She scans the crowd, rising up onto her toes until she realizes how dumb that looks.]] ... mmm. I really might have to go kill him... Have you seen the vampire Ahiru? I'd like to give her her gift before I end up losing it.

[[He laughs]]

She is preparing. She will be here as soon as all the guests arrive. May I offer you a refreshment in the mean time?

[Rather grumpy, Ahiru flops down somewhere in the back behind a pillar, chewing on (rather ironically) a peach. She hadn't bothered to dress up, still in her jeans and loose shirt, honestly here more to keep an eye on the Goblin King then anything. She didn't need anyone getting whisked away by the creepo after all.]

[[He leans in from behind the pillar and whispers, head on her shoulder.]]

[Started half to death, she squeaked and dropped the fruit, watching it roll across the floor and stopping god knows where. Quickly she pulled away from him, giving him one of her patented annoyed pouts.]

Fakir. Don't you get tired of sneaking up on me?
