Huh, I voted The Puppet Guide on another app just now, so it almost seems strange to vote it again but a few answers just hit it bullseye. Two categories of reasons: "I'd probably be the wizened old wise man in stories", "Besides writing the actual story and some acting roles, I usually play the narrator", "I've wanted to be a journalist and novelist for the longest time", and "knowing that I played a part in creating a big change, no matter what it was" -- all of these are things that would characterize the Puppet Guide. Someone that read through the story and knows what's happening, and eventually changed the story because of exerting her will

I always love reading your well-thought out votes, Tomoyo-chan. :)
On that last note, I think I surprised myself when I answered the tragic fate question because I don't necessarily believe in fate (I'm more faithful, than fateful :P), destiny, or whatnot.
but accepting the disease isn't the same as accepting the tragic fate. You can take the situation but defy the tragedy that comes with it
*ponders* Ah, I do see what you mean now. I'd like to think of it as still accepting fate but not resigning yourself to it. (So it's more of accepting fate but not the tragedy?) Although now I see it really could be viewed as a way of 'fighting', as well, but in a different sense.
I'm going to have to agree - The Puppet Guide is what came to mind first, for me. You love helping others and giving advice, and you encourage them, but you're also there to stabilize the world. This line especially makes me think of it: "I don't shield them from the pain but rather I'd like to help them understand and go through it coming out stronger." That's what a guide does, essentially. The guide is there to tug you along in the right direction and to try and ensure you come out stronger, but it doesn't shield you from the pain.
I really got a Swan Princess vibe from your application, for some reason. I'm not 100% sure if I can explain why, but...I think I see the Princess as being calm and accepting of what happens, while wishing the best for everyone, which is the sort of feeling I've gotten from your application. Plus, the "Accepting a tragic fate can be a sign of strength, too" part of your application really made me think of that role. XD;; I see where people are coming from with the puppet guide vote, and I almost agree with it, but...the Swan Princess vibe was so strong it over shadows that in my mind.
I guess I'm seeing a strong The Puppet Guide vibe coming from here. Helping others, giving advice, encouraging, calm, the acceptance of fate...you sort of point people in the direction of where you think they should go, but you don't force them in that direction, rather you allow them to make their own choices to going toward that path.
The helping others, advice, steering things and such seems very The Puppet Guide for me. While also the vibe of the Swan Princess, but I think your actions and such would lean more towards the Puppet Guide; if that makes sense.
