Basics
Name: Tory
Age: 17
Gender: Fangirl is me. :3

From a scale of 1-10 (1 is left trait, 10 is right trait), and why:

Optimistic/Pessimistic? [7] I am really quite pessimistic, but I very often put on an aura of being optimistic around my friends to make them happy.
Altrusitic/Selfish? [5] I can be self-centered, but I really am inclined to help others before myself.
Idealistic/Cynical? [4] I'm idealistic socially and politically; I am cynical in most everything else.
Aggressive/Submissive? [6] I really don't like confrontation unless it's to fight for something I really believe in.
In the spotlight/In the background? [2] I love being on-stage and being paid attention to.
Forthright/Indirect? [4] I am honest unless I feel like it would not achieve anything besides pain,
Someone that stabilizes the world/Someone that changes the world? [8] I like change...particularly from what I see now.

Stories
Did you ever play make believe when you were younger? If so, what kinds of characters did you play, in what kind of stories? Oh, my whole world was an imaginary; I rarely saw anything of the real world until after I turned 10. My favorite role were Disney princesses like Belle and Jasmine: strong princesses that helped see beyond exteriors and save their prince.
What's your favorite fairy tale and why? It would have to be Beauty and the Beast: I love the idea of there being more than what meets the eye.
If you found a genie and his magic lamp and he offered you three wishes, what would they be and why? 1, to be an elementary school teacher; 2, to have my family and friends live long, healthy lives; and 3, to live in a fantasy world.

Roles
What kinds of roles (e.g. devil's advocate, comedian, silent observer) do you play now in your life with whom? I very often play a comedic or supportive role with friends, a silent observer role with strangers and a protective role with my mother.
Do you or did you roleplay or act? If so, what kinds of characters and stories do/did you depict? I roleplay on sortinghat_rp as Rue, and as Fakir on luceti. I also am very active in the Drama clubs I've been in; my prominant roles are Alice's serious older sister in Alice in Wonderland, a cheesy radio host "Vicky" Fontaine in Grease and (currently) the talkative, self-centered Queen Aggravaine in Once Upon A Mattress. My favorite roles are funny and/or evil characters; they're just more fun. XD
What are your goals for the future? What do you strive to be? To be an elementary school teacher who can inspire children to work hard and learn a lot.
What legacy would you like to leave behind? To believe in your dreams despite what anyone else may think and to keep learning and changing...and also to look past appearances and give people a chance.

Life Related
What is your general temperament? Friendly, if not a bit detached
How are you protected, and how do you protect? I both protect and am protected by my mother and friends.
How do you feel about the things about your life you have no control over, if any? How do you feel fortunate? How do you feel cursed? I feel very fortunate that I have learned to be independant and to fight to be my own person, free of peer pressure and conformity. However, I do feel sad that my father has been so absent in my life, and that I have not reached out to him.

You've discovered you have a tragic fate. Accept that fate and find happiness in the tragedy, or defy that fate and find glory, amid conflict and pain? Defy it like hell, unless I feel like, in the end, accepting my fate would benefit others.
Rate these in importance and explain: loving oneself, loving everyone, loving one person the most Loving one person, then everyone, then oneself, although I feel like all of them go hand-in-hand and are all exceedingly important. It all depends on what level you're loving at; you should love one person above all, but you should cherish all of mankind, and also appreciate yourself for your weaknesses and strengths.

Love is worth forgiving for;
Now I realize everything worth living for
Is there, in his eyes!

Anything else?To those who accept their fate, happiness. To those that resist their fate, glory.
