Basics
Name: Lisa
Nickname: None that I approve of.
Age: 19
Gender: female

Personality
How do you perceive yourself? In a nutshell: I hate myself. I think I have a pretty good understanding of myself and the reason of my actions. I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses, yet I often indulge in my own misery and keep thinking that I am a failure who can't possibly change my flaws.
How do you think other people perceive you? I have a pretty good understanding of how people perceive me.

Here's how people describe me:
• first impression: shy/arrogant/odd
• friends & acquaintances: too quiet, friendly, kind, tolerant, indifferent, preoccupied, polite, honest (about my opinion, not about myself -- but most people don't realize that I'm not honest about myself), loyal, reliable, accurate, helpful (only when I'm asked), absent-minded, spontaneous
• close friends: sarcastic, funny -- yet weird sense of humour, at times too serious, easygoing, motherly (XD), modest, friendly -- occasionally very mean (I love to tease people), spontaneous, loyal, well-mannered
• family: lazy, stingy, sarcastic, too serious, extremely cranky in the morning, solitary, frank, manipulative, perfectionist, good at handling money & tasks, paranoid

What do you do in your spare time (hobbies, if any?)? Drawing, painting, reading (Manga, dictionaries, and definitions xD), watching anime, being lazy, pretending to be busy, sleeping. I also used to make pottery, but the studio is too far away so I have taken an indefinite break.
Stuff you love: Art, manga, anime, a few cartoons, books (I don't read a lot, though -- I prefer a concise or unique writing style), music (Jrock, Classical, rock in general, quite a few other genres, too -- preferred languages: German, English, Japanese, Spanish), Psychology, Symbolism, Opera, Musicals, Theatre, tea (especially peppermint and rose hip tea with honey), sweets, spare time, black humour, silence, kind & patient people, languages, ...
Stuff you dislike: Noise & crowds (concerts = horror), narrow-minded people, discrimination, prejudice, people who try to tell me what to do or think they know everything about me, horror movies (the ones that are extremely gory), blood, violence.

Are you more...
Idealistic/realistic? I'm extremely down-to-earth, to the point where my father says I'm unimaginative. But it certainly has its advantages, too. Friends frequently seek advice from me or are curious about my opinion when it comes to serious issues.
Introverted/extroverted? Introverted.
Calm/hyper? Depends on whom I'm around. Mostly calm, though. I'm only hyper around very close friends and when I'm certain nobody (other than my friends) is around.
Mature/immature? Somewhere in between, I guess. Once again it depends on the company (and on my mood).

Princess Tutu Related
What are some (2-4) scenes that are your favorites in the show? Episode 23, Mytho's reaction when Rue says that he's destined to be tied to her and this sentence: If you gouge out my heart, please give it a kiss!. I find this scene strangely intriguing.
Another one I like is the story at the beginning of episode 22, because it reminded me of the drawings in one of my Grimm's Fairy Tales books. The story is also somewhat similar.
Who's your favorite major character (i.e. from the regular stamps) and why? I'm very fond of all of them. But if I had to pick I'd say Rue, because she's the most complex character and I can relate to her the most.
Who's your favorite minor character (i.e. Malen, Femio, Mr. Penguin) and why? Edel, initially because of the name. Later on because of her interactions with Ahiru (especially the scene where she talks about fate).
Who's the character you like least (can be major/minor) and why? Lilie, she's a little too sadistic at times.

Gift Related
Have you been naughty or nice this year? Only Santa knows~
Did you believe in Santa Claus? Of course I did, but I am not sure for how long. If I remember correctly I stopped at the beginning of elementary school when I discovered the presents before Christmas (around the age of 6-8).
Would you rather give or receive? Well, I used to prefer receiving presents, but lately I'm not really concerned with giving nor receiving. My family and friends have a hard time finding gifts that I appreciate, so I tend to tell them: Give me something that's on my wish list or nothing at all. Christmas presents tend to be decorative or impractical and I don't want to end up throwing these things away (but usually I do if there's no use to them, I don't have enough space to keep every little thing I receive). I prefer to pick the decorative stuff myself, only exception: flowers. I know it's the thought that counts, but if that's really the case I'd prefer the person to spend time with me or to give me something I really want out of the blue instead of feeling obliged to give me something on Christmas. It's more pleasant to receive presents randomly instead of being bombarded on a particular day. When it comes to giving I'm rather lazy and stingy. I tend to give things when I'm absolutely sure the person really will be happy about it and will be able to make good use of it. It usually ends up being something that the person mentioned a long time ago (I may not give presents often, but I do enjoy it a lot).
If you don't mind saying so, what are some of the actual things on your holiday wishlist? I only expect one present from my parents, a new monitor which I will be paying half of the price. And my grandparents will probably pay the Princess Tutu Complete Collection and a Webster's Dictionary (won't receive those until next year, since I have to import them *sigh*).
What style of gifts do you like receiving? Practical ones, unless it's fandom-related. My taste in fandom-related stuff is pretty diverse, but I tend to prefer fanart or fanfiction that deals with issues/characters/etc. which were only briefly mentioned in the show. Other than that I'm pretty open-minded, except for OOC.
If you could have one thing from the Tutu item list, what would it be and why? Autor's Tea Set, because I love to drink tea (duh). Plus, it seems to be expensive.
