*the curtain rises on an empty stage, backlit in a blue wash on the cyc wall. As the opening strains of music play, two figures walk out onto the stage, and into the crosslights, which provide a stark contrast of light and shadow over their features. They stand at opposite ends of the stage, facing one another. A third figure walks into USC, where

Gah, I wanted to read it while I listened to the songs, but my computer's doing that weird thing where it won't play sound, and I'd have to restart and I didn't want to yet, so I'll listen to the songs tomorrow, but -- AHHH! This is great. The dialogue, the stage directions, and the song transitions -- ohhh, I love the transitions -- it's all perfect. I can completely see this playing out in my mind.
And gah, it makes me want to see it on a stage.
HEARTS FOR YOU: ♥♥♥♥
I loved this idea when I first heard about it, and if anything, it's exceeded my expectations. ♥ I love musicals in general, and this just works, so well. Very, very much looking forward to the next part. :D ( ... )

I'm glad you like it, and I hope you like the music too... sometimes characters talk to me in my head, and Eiji has a great rant at one point, thanks to the song I have him singing. ^__^ I'll post it when we get to that point, probably.

The songs fit really really well they're like, prettylove <3. *loves* ♥
Oh, I was wondering, are the lack of stage um, entries deliberate? As in as in throughout the entire thing, you never mentioned from which side the actors entered and exited and stuff. Yeah. Including all those and stuff would make the whole thing look even more 'script-ish' so it depends on um whether you want it to feel that way! *is probably not making sense*
But I think you did a terrific job :33 Is it a CYC wall or a CYC screen? 'Cos I've only come across screens, no walls. Not that I've seen a lot, though, so yeah. >.>

as for the cyc... it can either be a screen or a wall, depending. The theaters I spent most of my youth in had a blank back wall that served as the cyc, so I usually call it the cyc wall. (and heaven knows if I've spelled it correctly!)
I'm glad you like the story though! (I'll get right to work on the stage directions. ^_^)

yeah, it's usually shortened as "cyc". The actual name for it is "cyclorama", if I'm not wrong. I fail so much if I am >.>
