This will be my 7th year to do NaNo. It's been a completely positive experience.

You do it in November with everybody, right? I'm kind of curious what that's like with all of the national support on the websites and stuff, but I've chosen summers for me because here it has lousy weather and the three-day weekends, while November has that whole thing with the Thanksgiving trips and the studying for finals.

November is indeed a busy month, but, for me, it's not so much the time you got as the time you don't got that motivates writing.
