Fun to dye

Today I did my first attempt at dyeing yarn with kool-aid. I had some yarn I spun up with the practice roving from my lessons and figured if I messed up the dyeing with it I wouldn't be too upset. So into the crock-pot it went.

Pretty! I dye with kool aid sometimes, and the chemical stuff sometimes. It just depends on my mood & how I'm I'm going to use the finished yarn. It's really pretty all skeined up!
