My advice is to wait until someone who knows about BBQing arrives, and can take over the job. That way you can sit back and relax, or just walk around being the good host. Worked for me - remember Adrian doing almost all of the cooking? :)

I fully intend to leave it to other people - but I figured it might help if I actually knew how to start the thing (it's a gas-powered BBQ) :-)
I understand about the double-booking - you will be missed but don't worry about it too much. I have *extremely* low expectations of IFIS related people turning up at my events. My aim is to have a good time regardless of whether or not people turn up.
