Anyway, the song is PERFECT for Loki, it takes us on such a journey through his story arc in Thor.
I loved your sort of sepia tone coloring on the flashback scenes, it really set them off so nicely, IMO! :D Your lyric interpretations and clip choices were awesome and I liked how you sped things up slightly as the music became more frenetic! :D
The shot of Thor and Loki laughing together amidst the fight scenes just makes me *clutches heart.* Aww, fellows, there's gotta be a way to work this out, right? *sniffles*
And then the ending! *sniffles again more loudly* The shot of baby!Thor and baby!Loki amidst Loki falling away? *clutches heart again* What a perfect way to show how far he's (literally) fallen.
A really fantastic and beautiful study of Loki and I loved it! ♥!

I really liked the way the sepia coloring turned out as well. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Thrilled you agreed with the lyrical interpretations. Some of it was just so obviously Loki-based to me, but some was left me with a clueless feeling. I'm glad you thought it all worked out. Glad the editing worked for you too. I really didn't want to do injustice to the song because it has an amazing pace.
The "happy flashback scenes among the midst of despair" (as I call them. Ok, I don't really call them that, but maybe I'll start. ;D) were actually a sort of last minute decision, but I felt they really worked so I included them.

You should watch it! Most of fandom has fallen in love with a "villain" because of this movie. Tom Hiddleston (Loki) does a great job. However, be warned that there is some brotherly angst, not unlike that of Dean and Sam in later seasons where they are pitted against each other. That said, perhaps you'll love the film even more because of it. :)
YAY it's up! As you know, I really enjoyed this! I was so excited to hear you were making it, and even more excited when you let me beta for you! All the stuff I liked before is still there which is great, the excellent lyric interpretation (and this really is a great song for him!), the cool beat use in the later part of the song when the music builds up, the sympathetic portrayal of Loki and his relationship with Thor and his father *sniff* I loved it, fantastic job Maria!
