Such a sweet story - I loved the ending with Dean trying to teach Sammy to say his name and John finally realising that his son is going to be okay :).

I appreciated this look at how it might have gone. The part about John letting Dean look at the hunter's books rings especially true, because it doesn't seem like John ever hid the monsters from Dean.
