He pops the cap off the lipstick tube, one of the ancient worn-down ones his mom clearly hasn't touched in years. He doesn't think she would have noticed anyway, and if she did she probably wouldn't care, but... it's not about shame, or the consequences of anyone else knowing. Oh wow I love this fill! The way it speaks to his privacy and the way it isn't about how it looks but what it *means*. I could picture that moment where he leans in and dogs up the mirror SO PERFECTLY, nnnngh. Awesome!

Thank you! I've seen people talking about this, obviously, but I hadn't seen anyone mention the part of the interview where he said he felt all Rocky Horror about it, and that was the part that made me squee the most. :)
