RIP Pushing Daisies

Dammit, Pushing Daisies has been cancelled. I'd heard rumors, but it was confirmed yesterday when I saw Kristen Chenoweth on The View. They'll finish showing the rest of this season, but there goes another show I adore. And My Own Worst Enemy got the chop too, wasn't their best, but it was enjoyable when there's nothing else on on Mondays

Did you ever see the series Wonderfalls? Same guy, Bryan Fuller, did that series too... Muffin Buffalo & the MB lady were on that show too. I need that series as well. lol

Since you like PD, I think you'd enjoy Wonderfalls. Same quirkyness. Set in Niagara Falls and various inanimate objects talk to the main character (and also has Lee Pace in it as her brother). Each episode is titled whatever object is talking to her that time - i.e. Pink Flamingos, Lovesick Ass, Muffin Buffalo... I really liked it. And of course, another series cut short. Grrr

Last night's PD ep had Muffin Buffalo and the lady who made the muffins...which were also in an ep of WF. =)
