turnthepageover.livejournal.com/24842.html “Do you ever miss home?” Jack asked Alex, playing with his fingers gently. He looked up at the older male who bit his lip, not making eye contact. “I do. I miss my mom. And my dad, and the rest of my family. And Rian and Zack and the crew.”
Alex still didn’t answer, looking out the window. Jack pressed himself closer to him, putting his hand to the boy’s cheek and moving his face to look at him.
“Lex,” he said softly, rubbing his thumb over his stubble. “Don’t you miss them too? They’re our family.”
“I don’t want to lose you again,” Alex whispered, looking down.
“You wouldn’t,” Jack disagreed, moving his hand down to his shoulder. “Why do you think you would?”
“They wouldn’t want us together, Jack,” he said. “Matt wouldn’t let us.”
“Matt doesn’t control us. We’re his boss, remember?” Jack said and Alex sighed. “Look, Alex. I love you. You’re not going to lose me now, okay?”
“Okay,” Alex answered and Jack leaned forward, pressing a kiss to his lips. Alex didn’t react and Jack pulled away, sighing and looking at him.
“You never kiss me back,” Jack told him and Alex looked away, “and you never say you love me back.”
“I’m sorry,” Alex said, looking down.
“Alex!” Jack said and Alex looked up. “Why?”
Alex looked into his eyes, but he didn’t respond.
“Why? I thought this was what you wanted. We’re together! Now I’m trying to be with you and you won’t be with me!”
“Because I’m actually not as stupid as you think I am, Jack,” Alex said, and Jack furrowed his eyebrows.
“What?” he asked.
“You think I don’t know you’re pretending?” Alex asked and Jack glared.
“I am not pretending,” he said and Alex rolled his eyes.
“Right, because you just all of a sudden go from being repulsed at the thought of me being in love with you to wanting to be in a relationship with me,” Alex said, raising an eyebrow.
Jack pulled himself away from Alex, sitting up.
“I was in shock at first. You sprung a huge thing on me, Alex. But I know I want to be with you now! I love you,” Jack said and Alex laughed.
“You just wanna get out of here, Jack,” he said, and Jack could see the difference in his eyes, the difference in his expression.
“No I don’t,” he said and Alex laughed coldly. “I love Alex.”
“No you don’t, you liar!” Alex yelled and he cringed away from him. “You just want to leave!”
“Alex!” he said, trying to remain calm.
“Why don’t you just go then?! Get out of here!” he yelled at the younger boy, standing up and making him cower back.
“No!” he yelled and Alex Lucas reached forward, yanking on him. “Stop it!”
He shoved him towards the door and Jack tried to stand still, fighting it. This wasn’t Alex. This wasn’t his Alex.
“Get the fuck out!” he screamed and Jack shook his head.
“No!” he yelled back and the elder glared. “I’m not leaving Alex.”
“Leave!”
Jack felt himself being shoved into the door, so he shoved back, but the other male was stronger than he was. He felt himself fall backwards, hitting his shoulder on the door handle and moaning in pain. He curled forward, cradling his arm and rubbing his shoulder. He felt the door brush him as it opened, and then he felt tugging on his arm as he was shoved outside. He kicked and squirmed, trying to free himself from the grasp when suddenly it was gone. Then the door slammed in his face.
He picked himself up off the ground, looking inside the house.
“What the fuck?” he mumbled to himself, shaking his head. He tried to open the door, turning the handle to find it had been locked. He knocked on the door, unable to see the older male in the front room.
He rubbed his shoulder, sighing. He didn’t really understand what had happened, especially since it had happened so fast.
He knocked on the door again, biting the inside of his cheek. “Alex?”
He didn’t get an answer so he sat down on the porch, making a face and looking up at the sky. It had been a long time since he had actually sat down and watched nature move around him.
He wasn’t sure how long he had been sitting outside before he heard the door creak open behind him. He turned his head, seeing Alex standing in the doorway, looking down at him.
“Lex?” he said, seeing the boy bite his lip. “Come out here, babe.”
“You didn’t leave,” Alex mumbled gently, opening the screen door and stepping onto the small porch. “He said you left.”
Jack’s heart ached, seeing how broken the boy was. He had tears running from his now normal caramel eyes, and Jack could see a small speck of blood where he had bit his lip too hard.
“I told you, you shouldn’t listen to him,” he said, and Alex sat down next to him, putting his head on Jack’s shoulder. “He lies, Alex. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be but here with you.”
Jack brushed his bangs away from his forehead, kissing his forehead gently.
Alex tilted his head up, looking into Jack’s eyes. Jack wiped the tears away with his thumb, smiling affectionately at the elder. Alex leaned forward, pressing his lips to Jack’s carefully. Jack smiled to himself before kissing back, putting his hand on the side of Alex’s face.
He parted his lips, running his tongue along Alex’s bottom lip. Alex parted his own lips, granting Jack access to his mouth and tongue. Jack felt butterflies erupt in his stomach, almost identical to the ones in Alex’s.
“Jack,” Alex mumbled after they pulled away for air, resting his forehead against Jack’s.
“Yeah?” Jack murmured, smiling at him.
“I love you,” he whispered grinned.
“I love you too,” he whispered back, before leaning in to kiss him again.

Jack toyed with the soft hair at the back of Alex’s neck, wrapping the strands around his fingers before unraveling it and doing it again. He smiled at the sleeping boy pressed up against him before turning his attention back to the movie playing on the screen. He couldn’t remember what it was called, but it was actually pretty funny.
He was almost drifting into sleep himself when he heard a sound. He furrowed his eyebrows, sitting up carefully so not to wake Alex.
There was a knocking on the door, and Jack’s eyes widened. Since he had been here no one had ever come to the door. Should he answer it? Would Alex get mad?
He stood up, moving quietly towards the door. He peeked outside, surprised to see who was on the other side. He bit his lip, grabbing the handle and pulling it open to reveal Matt and Rian standing on the other side.
