I opened my eyes to sunshine filling the room, blinking and rubbing them. I sat up, yawning and feeling the dull ache of a hangover in my head. I looked down at Alex who was sleeping peacefully beside me, smiling to myself. I removed the covers from my naked body, groaning quietly as I felt the ache in my legs and hips, not to mention my ass. I stood slowly, running my hands through my hair and walking over to the dresser. I pulled out a pair of boxers and sweatpants, putting each article of clothing on. I went out the door quietly, walking to the kitchen.

The sounds of cartoons could be heard from the living room and I smiled. I couldn't wait to kiss Josie. It had been too long since I last saw her.

I opened the fridge, taking a Gatorade bottle out and opening. I took a long drink, setting it down and walking to the bathroom. After I went pee I opened the medicine cabinet, searching for some aspirin. I shook one out of the bottle, walking back out and grabbing my Gatorade. I went into the living room, seeing May and Joe sitting on the couch with coffee. May had Josie in her lap, looking around the room with wide eyes. May looked over as I walked in the room, smirking at me.

"Nice hickey, Jack," she said, glancing at my neck.

"Shut up," I mumbled, standing next to her and looking down at my baby. I smiled as her eyes settled on me, cooing.

"Maybe next time you should remember other people live in this house too," she said and I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up and give me my daughter," I told her, reaching my hands out for Josie. She grinned, sliding Josie into my arms. "Hi, baby! Oh I missed you, Jo-Jo!"

I cuddled her to my chest, kissing all over her face. She snorted as I did so, letting out a wail.

"Don't get angry at my love! I'll just kiss you more!" I warned, kissing her face a few more times. I sat down between May and Joe, putting my knees up on the coffee table and resting Josie against them.

"She's beautiful, Jack," Joe told me and I smiled, smoothing down her messy hair.

"Thank you," I said, watching her stare up at me with her big brown eyes. "I did all the work, that's why."

He laughed, reaching his finger out and laying it in her palm. She wrapped her fingers around it tightly, looking down.

"Did you meet Uncle Joe, baby?" I said and Josie looked up at me again.

"She was sleeping when I got here last night," he told me.

"Have you held her yet? I know May like to be a baby hog," I told him and he smiled.

"No. She was feeding her when I got down here," he said and I glared playfully at May.

"Don't hog my baby. She loves all of you the same," I said and she frowned.

"Fine! But I'm still her favorite aunt!" she exclaimed and I laughed.

"You're her only aunt," I told her. "At least until Joe gets married."

"I'll still be her only biological aunt, so whatever," she answered.

"That's not true. You were adopted," Joe said, taking Josie from me carefully. I laughed, looking over at my sister's pouting face.

"I was not adopted!" she exclaimed. "Fuck you!"

"May! There's little ears in the room!" I told her and she snorted.

"You obviously aren't talking about yourself, Dumbo," she said and I faked laughter.

"No, he's talking about those holes in your neck you call ears," Joe said and I laughed.

"Oh the sweet sound of sibling rivalry is filling my home. All of my babies must be here," Mom said and I laughed along with May and Joe.

"Mom, you know this is how we show our love," Joe said, smiling at her before looking down at Josie.

"Oh I remember," she teased, smiling. "So what do you think of that little niece of yours?"

"She's adorable," he said, smiling at her.

My mom smiled, glancing at me.

"She is. And such a sweet baby too. Jack and Alex did a good job," she said, leaning forward and smiling down at Josie.

"She's grumpy," I said and my mom chuckled.

"You are too," she smiled.

"I don't make the faces she does," I told her and she laughed.

"How do you know? You don't see your face," she said and I raised an eyebrow.

"I know because she makes her daddy's face," I said and she laughed.

"No. She makes Josie faces. She just looks like her daddy," she told me.

"Whatever you wanna call it. She's still grumpy," I said, tickling her foot.

I heard a noise from the kitchen, watching Alex come out of it. He ran a hand through his hair, smiling at us sleepily.

"Morning, babe," I greeted.

"Mornin'," he mumbled to me, falling back into my lap. "Hey, Joe."

I wrapped my arms around his waist, grunting.

"Why do you insist on sitting on me, fat ass?" I asked and he reached his hand back, playing with my hair.

"Don't call me fat, babe. That's not nice," he said and I rolled my eyes. I pinched his side and he wiggled slightly.

"I apologize," I mumbled, nuzzling my nose against his shoulder.

"Did you guys have fun last night?" Mom asked and I nodded, seeing Alex nod also.

"It was a small party. Saw some old friends," Alex said and I made a face.

"We did?" I asked and he laughed.

"Well I did. You got trashed on like three drinks," he told me and I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up. It's been a while," I answered, playing with Josie's toes. She pulled her foot away from me, cooing at Joe.

"I didn't do it," he told her, smiling.

"I did it, monkey," I said, grabbing her foot again.

"Josie!" Alex called out, drawing out the 'o'. She looked over at him, crinkling her nose and whining.

"Oh, daddy's girl!" I said, watching her squirm in Joe's arms.

"Oh my baby!" Alex cooed, picking her up and kissing her face. "I missed you, sweetface!" Josie stared up at him, smiling slightly and reaching her hand up to touch his scruffy chin. "Aw! I love you too!"

"She's a spoiled Daddy's girl," I told Joe and he laughed.

"Be nice to her. I luh her!" Alex said, kissing her chubby cheek once again.

"I luh her too," I said, chuckling. I reached my hand forward, running my fingers over her soft blonde hair. "Hi, boo."

She tried smiling at me again and I grinned, cupping her cheeks.

"Aw, you're so cute," I gushed, resting my head against Alex's shoulder and watching her. My stomach gurgled slightly and I made a face. "Mom, I want pancakes."

"It's almost one in the afternoon, Jack. I'm going to start lunch," she told me and I frowned.

"Can we have pancakes for lunch?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"We don't have any pancake mix. Plus I was going to make some grilled cheese and tomato soup."

"Can't you just go get pancake mix?" I whined and she shook her head. "But I want pancakes, mommy!"

"Jack, I have a lot of stuff to do around the house today. I really don't feel like running out just to get stuff for pancakes," she answered. "Especially when we have perfectly good food here at the house."

"You're so mean," I whined, pouting, and she rolled her eyes.

"I know, Jack. You're so abused," she told me.

"I'll take you to get pancakes," Joe said and I looked over at him.

"Really?" I asked and he nodded, laughing.

"I think they sound good too," he said and I smiled.

"Yay! Alex doesn't have to go but I'd very much like to bring my baby," I told him and Alex laughed.

"You're a dick," he told me and I put my hand over his mouth.

"Of course your baby is going. And Alex may go if he wants," he said, chuckling.

"Alex won't go. He hates pancakes," I said, feeling Alex try to bite my hand.

"Oh well, more for us then," Joe said, shaking his head at me.

"Right! Ow!" Alex caught one of my fingers between his teeth. "Fine! You can go! Jesus!"

He turned his head back, smiling and kissing me.

"You're ugly," I told him when he pulled away.

"That's okay. You are too," he answered and I grinned, pinching him again.I really need to come up with some drama for this -.-
