turnthepageover.livejournal.com/17049.html I woke up to gentle kisses being placed all over my face. I opened my eyes, seeing Alex’s honey brown eyes in front of mine.
“Morning, birthday boy,” he said, kissing my lips lovingly.
“Good morning,” I grinned, catching his lips again and pulling him down to me.
“W-wait, wait, wait,” he said, pushing me away. “I made you breakfast!”
“Breakfast in bed?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Mhm,” he hummed, grabbing the tray. “Chocolate chip pancakes, sausage links, scrambled eggs, orange juice.”
“You made all of this?” I asked as he put it down in front of me.
“Well I mean, your mom helped a little,” he said, cutting up the pancake. He fed me a bite and I closed my eyes as I chewed, moaning softly. “I made the pancakes by myself, though.”
“They’re delicious. Thank you, Alex,” I said, leaning over and kissing his lips.
“Your day has just started, my love,” he said. “So eat up.”
“Aren’t you gonna share with me?” I asked, eating a piece of sausage.
“No, I made it all for you,” he said.
“But I want you to share with me,” I told him and he smiled.
“Anything you want, darling,” he answered, allowing me to feed him a piece of pancake.

“Where are we going?” I asked Alex, holding his hand.
“Well first, we’re going to go in the store and you’re going to pick out a stroller and a carrier for sweet Josie,” he said. “And then I’m gonna take my baby daddy to dinner. And the rest will be a surprise.”
“Sounds delightful,” I said, smiling.
I let him lead me into the store, noting that we were surrounded by baby stuff.
“Okay, let’s go get a carriage for the princess,” I said, making Alex laugh.
“This one’s nice,” Alex said, pointing to a stroller on display.
“I don’t like it,” I answered, shaking my head.
“Okay. Pick out what you like. This is your day,” Alex said, and I squeezed his hand.

“Are you ready for dinner?” Alex asked, kissing my forehead.
“Can I skip dinner and just have dessert?” I asked, and he smirked.
“I think you need dinner. You’re gonna need energy for what I had in mind for dessert,” he said with a wink.
“I’ll just have seconds,” I countered, giving him a chaste kiss.
“Baby, I’ll make it a buffet and you can come back for as many servings as you want,” he said, and I laughed.
We walked into a restaurant, waiting for one of the waitresses to come seat us. I saw an older couple looking down at our hands. The woman made a face, turning to her husband. I rolled my eyes, tugging Alex closer to me and wrapping my arms around him. I laid my head on his shoulder, and he leaned his head down against mine.
“Hello,” a smiling hostess greeted, and we straightened up. I watched Alex smile back, squeezing my hand. “Name?”
“Gaskarth,” he replied.
“Okay, yes, sir. Follow me,” she said, grabbing two menus. We were led to the back of the restaurant, back to a secluded area. We sat down at a candle-lit table and the waitress placed the menus in front of us.
“I’ll be right back for your orders,” she said with a smile.
“Baby,” I said, smiling and looking around the dining area. “This is incredible.”
“I wanted to do something special for you,” Alex smiled, grasping my hand.
The curtain drew back again, and the waitress reappeared.
“It’s my guess that neither of you are twenty-one,” she said with a smile. “So how about some sparkling cider?”
Alex and I laughed, smiling at her.
“Sounds perfect. Thank you,” Alex said.
“Thanks,” I told her as she poured me a glass.
“And I will leave the bottle with you,” she said, grinning and putting the bottle into a bucket of ice.
She disappeared again, giving us time to look through the menu.
“Are you just gonna get dessert?” Alex asked, and I nodded. “I think I might do the same.”
“Just make sure you leave room for dessert,” I teased, sipping the juice.
“Oh, believe me, baby, I will,” he smirked, making me giggle.
The waitress came back.
“Okay, what can I get for you?” she asked, taking the cap off of her pen.
“I want some chocolate gelato,” I told her. I glanced up at Alex, who had closed his menu.
“And I’ll have vanilla Crème Brulee, please,” Alex told her. He took my menu for me, stacking it on top of his own and giving them both to the waitress.
“Awesome,” she said, putting them underneath her arm.
“Come over here,” Alex said, gesturing to the area next to him.
I stood up, dragging my chair with me and sitting next to him. He reached his hand out, moving my hair out of my eyes.
“Happy birthday,” he mumbled again, leaning forward to peck my lips.
“You’re so amazing,” I told him.
I kissed him again, grinning. God, I love this boy.

“W-what is this?” I asked, looking around as we pulled up to a hotel. “Alex!”
“Relax. Your parents paid for this,” he told me, pulling up to the doors.
“But I didn’t pack any clothes!” I exclaimed.
“I handled it, relax,” he said, cupping my face and kissing me. He got out of the car, moving towards the trunk. He pulled out two bags, carrying them to my side of the car. I got out, shutting the door. Ale handed the valet his keys before leading me into the hotel lobby.
I waited patiently for Alex to get the room keys, sitting on one of the chairs.
“Come on, baby,” Alex said, stepping in front of me.
I stood up, walking with him to the elevator.
“Hurry up,” I said, bouncing slightly. “I have to pee.”
“I can’t make the elevator move faster,” Alex laughed, and I frowned.
“You should. Your daughter’s slaying on my bladder!” I groaned.
He patted my stomach, smiling sympathetically at me.
“Oh my God!” I exclaimed. “What did they do?! Get us a room on the top floor?”
The doors finally opened, and I grabbed his hand, tugging him out of the door along with me.
“Slow down, babe,” Alex said. “I have to figure out what room we’re in.”
We found the room without much difficulty. After he opened the door I ran inside and into the bathroom.
“I’ll be right back, Jack!” Alex called out, knocking on the door.
“Where are you going?” I called out. Instead of an answer, I heard the door shut.
I frowned, stepping out of the bathroom. I turned into the room, seeing a huge king sized bed in the room. I saw a door leading out to a balcony. I grinned, remembering the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. I knew where I wanted to spend most of my time tonight.
I laid back on the bed, waiting for Alex to come back into the room.
“Okay, babe,” I heard Alex say as he walked back in about five minutes later. He was carrying his guitar case, and I raised an eyebrow. He sat down next to me, opening the case and taking his guitar out. “Don’t hate me if I mess up. I haven’t had much time to practice since I’m always with you.”
“Let me hear it,” I said, rubbing his arm gently.
He licked his lips, beginning to play. I rubbed my stomach, feeling Josie begin to move around. She loved music.
“From the get-go I knew this was hard to hold. Like a crash the whole thing spun out of control. Oh, on a wire, we were dancing, two kids, no consequences. Pull the trigger without thinking. There’s only one way down this road.
“It was like a time bomb set into motion. We knew that we were destined to explode. And if I had to pull you out of the wreckage, you know I’m never gonna let you go. We’re like a tomb bomb, gonna lose it, let’s defuse it. Baby, we’re like a time bomb, but I need it, wouldn’t have it any other way.”
I grinned, feeling tears pooling in my eyes. I rubbed his knee, listening to him continue to sing.
“Well there’s no way out of this so let’s stay in. Every storm that comes also comes to an end. Oh, resistance is useless. Just two kids, stupid and fearless. Like a bullet shooting love sick, there’s only one way down this road.
He paused, looking into my eyes.
“Go my heart in your hands like a tomb bomb ticking. It goes off, we start again. When it breaks we fix it. Got your heart in my hands, like a time bomb ticking. We should know better, but we won’t let go.
“It was like a time bomb set into motion, we knew that we were destined to explode. And if I have to pull you out of the wreckage, you know I’m never gonna let you go. Like a tomb bomb, gotta lose it, let’s defuse it. Baby, we’re like a time bomb, but I need it, wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“Alex,” I said, eyes tearing up again.
“Did you like it?” he asked, and I grinned. I moved forward, kissing his lips greedily.
“Why are you so perfect?” I asked him, stroking his face. I kissed his lips again, feeling my heart beat rapidly. Josie was still moving around, feet kicking. “Josie’s dancing.”
“I’m definitely not perfect,” Alex said. He placed his hands on either side of my bump, smiling as he felt Josie kick up into his hands.
“Josie thinks so,” I said, laying back on the bed. He lifted up my shirt, kissing underneath my belly button.
